Announcement: Hey guys! I am so sorry that I did not write in a while! I have had a college (Scottish further education) overload. So much to do and so little time to do it all....

I sat on one of the couches in the common room, lost in thoughts. The anger and grief about what happened a few hours before have stuck in my head on constant repeat, almost like having only one song on an iPod. This situation lost me.
Vera sat next me with her arm around my shoulder. Her cold skin gave me the shivers. I could not think of going class the next day.
"Cheer up, Jules! Will find a way to beat him." She said to me.
I sighed. "I know. But the events of tonight aren't really giving me any rest. Think I'll be staying up all night and not go to class tomorrow."
"Julie, it's ok. It's the last day of term before Christmas holidays anyway." Dan replied as he came up to sit on the chair opposite of the couch.
"But what is so special about whatever our parental sibling's 'thing'? I mean, what could it be and what could HE want from it enough to nearly kill us?"
"I don't know." Both of them replied, sighing.
I walked over to a window. I put my hands on the bottom of the frame and watched the tiny snowflakes fly past the open window.
Then, a bright orange glow appeared in the middle of the sky. So bright that some people came up to see what was going on.
"What is that?" Lizzie-Anne -a third year- asked in confusion. I stared at this orange thing, not exactly knowing of what to think about it.
"It's coming towards us!" Dan said and pulled Vera and I to the ground. This orange energy bolts nearly -only half a centimeter away- hit us.
"Wow, freaky!" Adam -a sixth year- commented as he got up from the ground.
"What the heck?" Dan asked
"Um, I don't know...." I replied back
"Hey, you would have been hit if I didn't pull you to the ground. Why were you staring at that thing?"
"Uh... I have no idea. I think I was just strangely attracted to it!"
Professor Mcgonagall then stormed into the Common Room.
"What happened?" She asked, concerned.
We suddenly became speechless as we had no idea what exactly happened. The orange thing has not been identified.
"Well?" she asked again.
I groaned and ran out of the common room. I wanted to find out for myself of what that thing was.
As I walked to the bottom of the Grand Staircase, I noticed that the orange thing settled near the entrance to the dungeons.
I ran down the stairs to investigate. The orange 'thing' started to glow brighter with every step that took.
"Freaky, it's like it knows who you are!" Vera said from behind me.
"Vera, Dan!" I replied in shock
"It's sensitive to whenever you step near it." Dan said
"And it's seems to be a magical fire type of thing. Aguamenti!" I said and pointed my wand at the orange thing. The wand fired a blue, glowing stream of water that extinguished the thing. We ran downstairs to see what it was.
"Check it out! It was a charmed meteor!" Vera gasped
Along with Dan, I cast a spell to find out wherever that was a present from Malfoy.
"Malfoy sent us a gift." I said
"Sheesh, he needs to cool off his jets!" Vera exclaimed.
"Reducto!" I said and the meteor exploded and the pieces splashed all over the place. Dan got up and caught something that sprayed off the meteor.
"Look! He wrote a note with his gift too!" He said as he opened the note up.
"You two are not safe. Wherever you go, I'll find you and destroy you" Vera whispered the contents of the note.
"Great, we can't even go a step without him knowing where we are! I groaned
"Stalker much?" Vera asked
"Let's stick together everywhere we go!" Dan said
"Not everywhere.... What about your meetings with the 'Pet Squad'?" I asked
"Ah, didn't think of that!"
"Well, they meet on the sixth floor. How about we just go up to the entrance to the sixth floor corridor and let you get on from there?" Vera asked
"Sounds like a plan. What about all the study groups Jules attends? I mean, I don't want to go to them!"
"Yeah, just because you think that books are haunted!"
"Not my fault that a flying book tried to eat my DADA homework scroll."
"It would do you a favour!"
"Kids, stop squabbling! We are friends, not some girls fighting over a dress at Primark!" Vera replied
We laughed.
"OK, so any idea why he sent this meteor?" Dan asked
Awkward silence fell between all of us for a while.
"Well, we know that he hates us and that he wants the treasure." Vera said
"And the fact that he seems to be after Julie more than any of us!" Dan continued
"I think that he just wants us dead. Or he wants to distract everybody else to get to us!" I replied
"This day has been absolutely crazy! first we go into the DoM, Julie gets kidnapped and we rescue her now a charmed meteor. Everything seems to be going at a very fast pace!" Vera said
"Too fast if you asked me. What 'keep out of danger and trouble' did Hermione mean? There is nowhere safe anymore with Malfoy being able to track our location!" Dan spat words out in anger.
"Hermione really haven't thought about this, didn't she?"
"We must go back to the Ministry and inform them of the incident with the meteor!"
"No! We can't!!! If we do, they'll just move us to a different school and then we won't be able to help people out with the Queen of Punishment!"
"That too!"
